Artist's Comments

Eugene Hugo, Victor's less famous and above all less happy brother, has always inspired me somehow... His tragic fate and his miserable end...
*sigh*
This picture in ink and pencil is dedicated to one of my favourite poets.

I am not kidding you when I say that I say this and I had already clicked another diviation when I hit that back button like I never have. Don't know why but this grabbed me without really explaining, the image seemed dark but nto typical. Indeed it's funny you say a poet inspired it because it seems just that.

You have talent, not just in that way many here do have...skill. no I am talking imagination and visualization... whatever I ramble this is so great!! If I could fave this 20 times I would. I really can't say much about teh technique because it's sort of pulled me in on a very visceral and wonderful way.

Pointed criticism, if accurate, often gives the artist an inner sense of relief. The criticism that damages is that which disparages, dismisses, ridicules, or condemns. Founder:~darksanctuary
